Cloughy Junior wins Bangor Mini-tennis series
 9 yr old Peter Galt overcame many more seasoned and experienced players to take joint first place in this 4-tournament series. This is a remarkable achievement in his first open competition.

Anyone interested in playing tennis can just come along for a free trial to our regular club-play sessions at the following times:
Senior club-play sessions - Tuesdays & Thurdays 7-9 & Saturdays 2-5 pm Ladies night - Mondays 7-9pm
(Weather permitting - we normally only cancel if conditions are very bad -ie it is raining heavily - or windy and wet - or snowing!)

Tennis is a sport that can be enjoyed from the age of 5 to 85, and is truly a 'sport for life'. It offers more health benefits and social, developmental and competitive opportunities than any other activity. Playing tennis also provides excellent relaxation and relief from the stress of modern living.
Where we are...... We are based at Cloughey Tennis Courts and Pavilion, Main Road, Cloughey and draw our members from the whole of the Lower Ards Peninsula including Cloughey, Portaferry, Kircubbin, Portavogie and Ballyhalbert (all within a 10 minute drive time from the courts).
What we can offer - excellent playing facilities - friendly atmosphere - free coaching. Recently refurbished and floodlit courts with an international standard porous all-weather polymeric surface. This is a really good playing surface with a medium-to-high bounce that enables longer rallies and is ideal for beginners as well as experienced players.
